Requirements:
We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to work in the United States, as this role supports a federal contract. We require the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance. We are looking for someone with 6+ years of software development experience. We need at least 2+ years of experience implementing ServiceNow solutions. We require 1+ years of experience in CSM or ITSM. We prefer candidates with 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in ServiceNow implementations. We prefer 1+ years of experience with portal customization. We prefer 1+ years of scripting experience beyond basic ServiceNow scripts. We prefer 1+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments. We prefer candidates with an active DHS or DoW government clearance. We prefer 1+ years of experience with App Engine. We prefer candidates with one or more additional mainline ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator, or relevant CIS credentials. We prefer hands-on experience configuring or building 5 or more ServiceNow applications, with more than 480 hours of experience in each. We prefer strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, modules, and best practices. We prefer familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management principles. We require strong scripting skills in JavaScript and GlideScript. We require technical skills in workflow configuration and business rule development. We prefer experience customizing UI and building complex workflows. We prefer understanding of integration techniques with external systems. Responsibilities:
We partner with Solutions Architects and Business Analysts to define business outcomes and functional needs, then translate them into effective ServiceNow solution designs. We implement ServiceNow solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with requirements and industry best practices. We develop and maintain complex scripts, business rules, and UI policies. We support data migration planning and execution from legacy systems into ServiceNow, with a focus on accuracy and consistency. We validate that data is moved into the most appropriate ServiceNow structures, favoring out-of-the-box schemas before custom builds. We assist with integrating ServiceNow with other systems and applications to create seamless end-to-end workflows. We produce detailed technical documentation covering configurations, customizations, data models, and key design decisions. We conduct thorough testing to verify functionality, data integrity, and user experience, and we resolve issues as needed. We support end-user training to help drive successful adoption of the implemented solution. We contribute to change management efforts by supporting developers, architects, and users during transition periods. We troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations, working with support teams to close incidents and problems quickly. We follow security best practices and ensure our solutions meet applicable compliance requirements. We stay current on ServiceNow features, enhancements, and best practices, and continue certification and training to support team growth. We provide technical guidance and mentorship to Associate ServiceNow Developers and share lessons learned across the Practice. We collaborate closely with project managers, implementation specialists, and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication on risks, issues, wins, and project status.
