Responsibilities

Monitor infrastructure health, availability, capacity, performance, and security alerts; Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex hardware, OS, virtualization, networking, and storage incidents; Plan and execute installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning of datacenter equipment; Perform preventive maintenance, firmware updates, OS patching, and hardware lifecycle replacements; Administer and optimize Microsoft Hyper-V clusters and VMware vSphere environments including hosts, clusters, VMs, templates, and storage connectivity; Configure and troubleshoot datacenter switching, VLANs, routing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP; Administer OSNexus QuantaStor and other SAN platforms including storage pools, RAID, volumes, and replication; Analyze latency, packet loss, and throughput using monitoring tools; Coordinate network and storage changes with internal teams, carriers, and vendors; Create, manage, and update tickets in the company PSA; Perform root cause analysis for significant incidents and implement corrective actions; Mentor junior technicians and review technical work; Lead or participate in datacenter projects defining technical requirements and implementation plans; Evaluate products and processes to recommend improvements and contribute to infrastructure roadmaps.
