Responsibilities:
Lead the design, creation, and implementation of machine learning models for defense applications, including predictive analytics and decision support systems Collaborate with diverse teams including analysts, engineers, and military personnel to define project requirements and deliver actionable insights Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques on structured and unstructured data from various sources (e.g., sensor data, ISR, logistics, cybersecurity) Ensure that models adhere to ethical standards set by DoD AI principles and governance policies Mentor junior data scientists and aid in the development of reusable tools, frameworks, and best practices Facilitate the integration of machine learning models into operational systems and cloud environments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
