Responsibilities
Design and build hypervisor and host-side software for secure multi-tenant VM isolation; Enable and optimize OCI compute platforms across Intel, AMD, and Arm hardware; Develop virtualization features like live migration for minimal customer disruption; Design fault-tolerant systems with in-service updates and automatic recovery; Investigate and resolve complex issues across hypervisor, guest VMs, host OS, hardware, networking, and storage; Build automated validation, performance, stress, fault-injection, and compatibility testing; Instrument services with telemetry and dashboards for operational issue detection and recovery; Participate in operational support rotation, incident response, and root-cause analysis; Build security capabilities for workload isolation and platform integrity; Develop tooling and automation for deployment, maintenance, and safe rollout of hypervisor changes; Collaborate with hardware vendors and partner engineering teams to qualify new server platforms.
