Requirements:
We require an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to pass a security investigation for access to classified information. We are seeking senior-level cybersecurity engineering experience, including work in cybersecurity requirements development, cyber threat analysis, cyber engineering, cyber systems architecture, or cybersecurity policy development. We require either five years of program-specific security engineering experience supporting Navy afloat or tactical combat systems, or ten years of broader security engineering experience. We require at least an IAT Level II certification or higher in line with DoD 8570.01, or its successor. If assigned as a privileged user, the selected candidate must obtain and maintain the appropriate adjudicated T-5/T-R status with an IT Level-1 designation in JPAS, and complete OS/CE training within six months of the start date. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of cybersecurity, military system specifications, and DoD Information Assurance policy for both land-based and afloat/tactical systems. We need a candidate who can communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal settings. A bachelors degree in cybersecurity is preferred.
Responsibilities:
We develop cybersecurity requirements, policy standards, best practices, and procedural guidance for combat systems. We conduct cybersecurity research, analysis, and coordination activities that support DoD cyber assurance and policy efforts across multiple classification levels. We lead working groups to shape cybersecurity strategies that address emerging threats. We analyze cybersecurity, intelligence, and information technology policy gaps affecting combat systems. We perform cybersecurity systems engineering design, analysis, and documentation for combat systems. We create cyber risk assessments and mitigation plans for combat systems. We produce documentation covering cybersecurity requirements, gap analysis, threat analysis, systems engineering, risk assessment, and mitigation. We develop or apply MBSE models to support cybersecurity analysis.
