Senior Cybersecurity Specialist
Salary: $113,300 - 226,700 per year
Requirements:
We require a BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field; a masters degree is preferred. We are looking for 10+ years of overall experience, including at least 5 years in cybersecurity, software development, or engineering. We need strong knowledge of customer and vendor relationships, product cybersecurity, and the connection between threats, vulnerabilities, and customer risk within a risk management framework. We require expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and server infrastructure. Certifications such as Security+, CC, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CPP, or CFE are preferred. Familiarity with exception handling, project management, and cybersecurity principles is preferred. Knowledge of enterprise and product cybersecurity risk assessment, vulnerability management methods, and related tools and technologies is desired. Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), cryptography, ISO 27001, and other cybersecurity audit standards is preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills are preferred.
Responsibilities:
We will lead cybersecurity initiatives from start to finish, including planning, scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and risk monitoring. We will oversee Core Diagnostics cybersecurity applications, including new requests, defect resolution, enhancements, and administration. We will contribute during early project stages, including discovery, to establish security requirements. We will review and help draft statements of work to ensure security expectations are clearly defined. We will support penetration testing and disaster recovery activities, coordinating with third-party providers and internal remediation teams. We will conduct and drive risk assessments across systems, applications, and cloud environments. We will help prepare for cybersecurity audits and take part in audit activities. We will manage and review security exception workflows, including system, cloud, and USB/device control exceptions. We will assist in documenting cryptography processes. We will handle cybersecurity requests from customers and vendors.
