Requirements:
3+ years of experience managing engineering teams 7+ years of software engineering experience 8+ years leading the design and delivery of multi-tier web services Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline Experience working with product or program management teams Experience communicating with users, technical partners, and senior leaders to gather requirements, explain software capabilities, outline technical designs, and discuss product direction Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching, and managing software engineering teams to strengthen skills and boost effectiveness

Lead a talented team of software developers as we expand and scale our mission-critical services Operate essential services that support Amazon operations across multiple business segments Shape a new vision and approach that enables business agility while improving the security standard Balance strong security controls with a smooth user experience, reducing unnecessary interaction complexity Guide software engineers using deep technical expertise to support incremental delivery and operational excellence Engage with internal stakeholders across all levels of the organization Build tools and services that collect, store, process, and control access to large volumes of security-related log data
