Job Overview:
Assistant in the group of research and teaching staff.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and teaching activities.
- Cooperating with academia and industry.
- Conducting fieldwork in exploration and engineering geophysics.
- Analyzing and interpreting geophysical data.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Master of Science in Engineering degree in the field of natural sciences, in the discipline of Earth and Environmental Sciences or a related discipline.
- Research Experience: 1-4 years.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of geophysical methods used in geological structure investigations, both on regional and local scales, including seismic, geoelectrical, electromagnetic, and gravimetric methods.
- Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of measuring equipment (construction and operation), including seismic equipment (Geode), geoelectrical equipment (ABEM), electromagnetic equipment (GF Instruments, Mala), and gravimetric equipment (Scintrex).
- Professional Experience: Documented professional experience in conducting fieldwork in exploration and engineering geophysics, supported by publications and completed projects.
- Teaching: Experience in teaching activities.
- Languages: English at a minimum B-2 level; Polish at a minimum C-1 level.
- Additional Requirements: Documented participation in national and international conferences, experience working in industry (oil industry, geophysical companies), documented professional experience in international projects, category C driving license.
- Legal Requirements: Full capacity for juridical acts, no conviction for an intentional offence, enjoyment of full public rights.
