Responsibilities
Ensure company procedures and safety standards are maintained onboard through crew familiarization, routine inspections, and near miss reviews; Coordinate with the crewing department to ensure vessels are properly manned and assist in overall fleet crew planning; Conduct Senior Officer performance appraisals and ensure they are familiarized with operational requirements; Plan, control, and execute maintenance, repairs, surveys, dry docking, and vessel modifications; Visit vessels regularly to verify general condition, maintenance schedules, crew performance, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
