Chief Architect: Cyber Defence & Sovereign Security

The Chief Architect - Cyber Defence & Sovereign Security will lead DSU’s national mission to design and deploy AI-driven sovereign cyber defence systems for India. This role focuses on building next-generation security architectures capable of defending large-scale digital infrastructure against advanced persistent threats, adversarial AI attacks, and emerging quantum risks.

The Centre of Excellence(CoE) for Cyber Defence & Sovereign Security will function as a national-grade cyber defence lab, combining AI, big data, cryptography, and real-time systems to develop secure platforms for government, fintech, defense, and critical infrastructure sectors. The Chief Architect of the CoE will guide deep research in adversarial AI, zero-trust systems, cyber resilience, and secure-by-design architectures while translating research into deployable frameworks and policy-aligned solutions.

This role also serves as a bridge between academia, national security agencies, and industry, shaping cyber security strategy, talent development, and trusted digital ecosystems at scale.
