Responsibilities
Liaise with production to maximize equipment performance; establish department goals, schedules, and timetables; maintain records and documentation on engineering procedures and maintenance; liaise with internal/external engineering personnel and contractors for maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning; facilitate implementation of equipment projects and process improvements; contribute to external, division, and corporate audits; identify and implement cost improvement and continuous improvement plans; cross-train within manufacturing engineering; ensure safety standards and safe working practices; support production team to meet output and yield requirements; supervise external contractors; undertake specific investigations and equipment monitoring to improve manufacturing performance; optimize manufacturing machinery elements to adapt to process conditions; adhere to MEP (Maintenance Excellence Programme).
