Lead and support welders and fitters throughout the shift; coordinate daily fabrication activities, staffing, materials, and workflow; monitor production schedules and adjust priorities; ensure work meets project timelines; establish and maintain fabrication procedures and shop practices; monitor finished work for quality standards; review production methods to improve efficiency; communicate with project management and other departments; ensure equipment and facilities are maintained; monitor inventory needs; balance workloads and communicate staffing concerns; determine staffing needs including overtime; enforce safety and quality policies.
