Responsibilities
Assess manufacturability of new product designs with Vehicle Systems Engineering; Select appropriate suppliers via detailed process assessments/audits; Collaborate with suppliers on technical design elements and CAD model reviews; Lead the Supplier Industrialization Roadmap (SIR) and capability assessments; Identify supplier Capex, tooling, and fixturing requirements; Assess supplier readiness for vehicle build events and report risks; Manage APQP process from design through SOP; Train suppliers on quality portals and review part quality submissions; Lead RCCA analysis and corrective actions; Analyze and report incoming supplier part quality metrics; Drive continuous improvement using quality and lean tools.
