Responsibilities
Build and own the data science and analytics function from the ground up; Partner with executive leadership to turn business questions into clear insights; Develop the core analytics roadmap across player behavior, retention, engagement, and monetization; Personally perform hands-on analysis including SQL querying, dashboarding, and statistical analysis; Improve the quality, consistency, and reliability of company metrics and data definitions; Identify gaps in data collection, instrumentation, and data architecture; Partner with engineering to improve data pipelines, quality, and governance; Design dashboards and executive reporting for leaders; Lead analysis on player lifecycle, cohort behavior, and game economy; Support experimentation, A/B testing, and measurement frameworks; Implement practical AI-driven solutions to automate reporting and accelerate insight generation; Establish best practices for responsible AI use and data privacy; Over time, hire, coach, and lead a high-performing data team.
