Fixed term contract – 3.5 years.
The Opportunity:
Edinburgh Cancer Centre is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Fellow with experience at Specialty Trainee level in Oncology or Palliative Medicine. This prestigious position is an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring clinical researcher to embark on an original research project leading to an MD or PhD linked to a European research programme in the implementation of digital patient-centred care using Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs). You would be working within a team which includes oncology, supportive and palliative care in oncology, implementation science, data science and digital innovation. Your research will have a focus which is both relevant to our research project and to your future aspirations, both research and clinical.
This post is full-time, however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus or in-hospital working.
Your skills and attributes for success:

Enthusiasm for patient-centred care
An appetite for using data-driven health research and digital innovation to improve patient care
Specialty Training in Oncology, Palliative Care or a related specialty
