NodeJS Developer

Job Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Build and expose RESTful APIs following best practices in API design, security, and performance.
• Develop and optimize database queries, schemas, and transactions using MySQL or SQL Server.
• Configure and manage APIs using API management platforms such as IBM API Connect, including publishing, security policies, and access control.
• Support deployment, testing, debugging, and performance tuning of backend services and APIs across environments.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable and scalable system integration.

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related 4-year course.
• 3–5 years of experience in backend or API development using Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development principles.
• Proficient in working with relational databases such as MySQL and/or SQL Server.
• Experience with API management platforms such as IBM API Connect or similar tools.
• Familiar with API security standards including JWT, OAuth, and API key management.
• Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
