Responsibilities
Administer and control the Permit to Work (PTW) system across LV and HV electrical works; Plan, develop, and execute switching programs and isolation plans; Perform duties as an Authorised Isolator, including isolation, locking, tagging, and proving de-energisation; Undertake HV switching operations on AC rail power distribution systems; Safely test for dead and prove isolation prior to issuing permits; Interface directly with the Network Control Officer (NCO) and key project stakeholders; Coordinate isolations across multiple concurrent work sites along the rail corridor; Issue, suspend, and cancel permits in accordance with site and rail authority procedures; Maintain accurate records of permits, switching logs, and isolation documentation
