## Responsibilities
### Feature Development
- Delivering unique, high-quality UI in a fast-moving environment.
- Working within a close-knit team with a high scope of accountability and ownership.
- Pushing the technical envelope with advanced usage of shaders on iOS for media effects.
### Platform Development
- Participating in the creation and improvement of the platform to increase development velocity and quality.
- Writing careful abstractions used by other iOS team members, such as media encoding, decoding, playback, performance tracing tools, and internal tooling.
- Developing components for Navigation and Deeplinks across apps.
### Roadmap Creation and Ideation
- Actively contributing to roadmap creation and ideation.
- Helping identify tradeoffs and bringing ideas from product and engineering perspectives.
### Knowledge Sharing
- Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in Apple software development.
- Attending conferences, participating in online communities, and sharing learnings internally.
### Ownership of Scope
- Monitoring analytics and managing system crashes.
- Proactively addressing issues and triaging bug fixes.
## Requirements
- Professional experience in native iOS development using Swift or Objective-C.
- Good understanding of computer systems fundamentals (Memory, Cache friendliness, Linking, Multithreading, etc.).
- Professional or academic experience in low-level languages like C or C++.
- Experience in Graphics Programming using either OpenGL or Metal.
- Passion and experience building consumer-facing products.
