Responsibilities
Lead coordination between engineering teams, consultants, contractors, owners, and clients to define project scope and align technical requirements; Drive alignment of owner and client inputs with design standards, budget targets, and early schedule milestones; Own CDE completion and BOD generation/deviation management; Generate and maintain precon budget until handover to development project management; Oversee review of precon/design documents, bid packages, and preliminary schedules to ensure technical compliance and constructability; Integrate preconstruction management into early design including conceptual budgeting, cost benchmarking, and early risk identification; Partner with procurement and commercial teams to review OFCI strategies and long-lead equipment planning; Facilitate structured preconstruction and design alignment meetings; Advise development teams on technical constraints, site limitations, and schedule risks; Support QA/QC process with site observation visits and validation of engineering intent; Manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams while maintaining accountability for scope, budget, and milestones
