Director, Infrastructure Security Engineering (Platform & IAM)
Builds
Core cryptographic primitives, eBPF security sensors, JIT access mechanisms, firmware security, and vulnerability management platforms for GPU clusters.
Domain

production ML models | infrastructure
Required skills
Platform security engineering leadership, team turnaround & coaching, hands-on builder experience with security platforms (Vault, SPIFFE/SPIRE, eBPF), architectural de-risking, Linux kernel security, container runtimes, IAM frameworks, PKI, hardware/network primitives
Preferred skills
Experience at hyper-scale cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI), experience with bare-metal and virtualized fleets, experience with multi-tenant GPU environments

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor an existing team of 5–6 engineers to transition from reactive operations to proactive platform engineering; Build and scale core identity, secrets, and PKI services across multi-tenant GPU environments; Architect and enforce zero-trust, JIT access mechanisms for fleet nodes and hypervisors; Build platforms for firmware security, supply chain verification, and vulnerability management; Secure the control plane across public cloud and on-premise AI data center infrastructure; Architect least-privilege IAM models and eliminate standing secrets; Perform continuous security architecture reviews and enforce governance via IaC.
