Responsibilities
Pull and route up to 300 copper cables and 8,000–10,000 feet of fiber optic cabling per new store install; Perform precision interior multi-mode and exterior single-mode fusion splicing; Mount, secure, and terminate up to 4 Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDFs); Mount and connect network switches, WAPs, VoIP phones, and computers; Add, move, and relocate existing copper infrastructure during remodels; Interface with General Contractors and MEP trades; Conduct full wireless surveys and comprehensive cable testing; Document and share technical test results; Operate BOOM and/or scissor lifts to work at heights up to 40+ feet.
