Support and assist the Manager Development Compliance and Plumbing Services as Council's principal Building Certifier, manage regulatory breaches by monitoring, investigating and reporting on illegal build matters, provide expert advice to the public on building certification and compliance issues, compile evidence for prosecutions and attend court to act as witness, coordinate and undertake regular inspections, manage and assess development applications for building work, assist in development & implementation of monitoring programs for high-risk premises, develop and modify systems to maximise efficiencies and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
