Responsibilities
Lead payload systems engineering activities from concept through commissioning, Serve as primary technical interface between customers, suppliers, and spacecraft teams, Define and verify payload requirements and integration plans, Coordinate payload accommodation across mechanical, electrical, thermal, and software interfaces, Review payload documentation including ICDs and test procedures, Perform mission analysis to assess payload impacts on spacecraft resources, Support payload integration, testing, and anomaly resolution, Support payload commissioning and early operations, Mentor junior engineers
