Responsibilities
Lead assigned HVAC controls projects through hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and closeout; Coordinate day-to-day execution with subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administrative support; Manage project financial performance including costs, billings, collections, cash flow, and gross margin; Maintain regular communication with customers throughout all phases of the project and support the development of long-term relationships; Review contractual scope, evaluate field directives, bulletins, and schedule changes, and pursue change orders when additional work is identified; Coordinate procurement activities including material selection, ordering, vendor pricing, availability, and delivery schedules; Oversee loading, device verification, system checkout, and commissioning of system controllers and related equipment; Validate complete system functionality, resolve issues, and ensure the final installation performs to project requirements; Prepare accurate as-built records, commissioning documentation, manuals, and warranty documentation; Provide site-specific training for owners and operators on system operation and use; Attend job progress meetings, report project status, and provide forecasts for revenue, costs, and margin as required; Ensure work is completed in compliance with applicable safety standards and legal requirements
