Responsibilities
Develop and manage production forecasts based on master plans and material needs; Adjust plans to accommodate demand changes and communicate updates; Produce revenue investigations and annual operating plans; Conduct special studies for new product/process cost reduction; Report production status and issues to upper management; Liaise with operations to resolve daily line disruptions; Develop and implement production control functions; Develop material planning models for optimal inventory; Approve quantities, schedules, and parts lists for material control; Maintain reports on scheduling and process performance; Interface with customers to meet delivery dedications; Interface with purchasing to expedite parts and reschedule deliveries; Notify management of material situations affecting production plans.
