Responsibilities
Conduct assessment, treatment, referral, and recording of occupational and emergent non-occupational injuries/illnesses; Perform medical surveillance and licensing exams (pre-employment, fitness for duty, DOT physicals, OSHA exams); Administer the plant's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program; Partner with health resources to place injured workers into modified/light duty assignments; Collaborate with Safety Team and Risk Management for safety audits and ergonomic training; Implement company and employee health and wellness programs; Engage users in CSC resources (EAP, Medical Decision Support); Ensure program compliance with OSHA and safety standards through training and recordkeeping; Manage stressful situations using medical skills and effective communication.
