Responsibilities
Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians; Oversee day-to-day pilot manufacturing operations including scheduling and resource allocation; Sustain and manage metals manufacturing technologies ensuring robust process capability; Lead the integration, validation, and scale-up of metals processing technologies; Drive automation and lights-out manufacturing including machine connectivity; Partner with Engineering and IT to support Industry 4.0 initiatives; Ensure accurate maintenance documentation and equipment performance monitoring; Collaborate on machining strategies, budgets, and process validation; Support new product development by coordinating prototype machining and DFM input; Manage metals NPD projects with full accountability for schedule and quality; Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with ISO 13485 and FDA QSR; Drive process optimization through SPC and lean methodologies; Deploy metrics and dashboards for shop performance; Negotiate priorities across stakeholders.
