Provide day-to-day leadership to hourly employees across billet, rod, sow, scrap, and dross operations; Lead safety initiatives including incident investigations and SSOP compliance; Oversee administrative and operational aspects of the shipping function; Manage scrap tub quality, repair, replacement, and disposal; Monitor consumption, generation, receipts, and inventory levels; Plan and coordinate pre-staging of scrap for furnace consumption; Develop and maintain storage layouts; Manage relationships and material flow with internal and external suppliers; Interface with Production Control and Ingot Supervisors to align alloy scheduling; Collaborate with Metal Reclamation to increase scrap utilization; Train supervisors and operators on charge calculation techniques; Manage dross segregation, sales, and consumption of resultant RSI
