Responsibilities
Design, build, align, and maintain optical and laser-based diagnostic systems; Plan, prepare, and execute experiments in shock tube and/or supersonic/hypersonic test facilities; Conduct high-speed and time-resolved data acquisition and perform processing and analysis; Develop and maintain reproducible data pipelines; Maintain laboratory safety standards and update SOPs; Contribute to preparation of technical reports, figures, and publication-quality visualizations; Support coordination and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate researchers; Collaborate with principal investigators to ensure timely completion of experimental milestones.
