Responsibilities
Review and provide technical advice on HAC system designs, drawings, specifications, and calculations; Act as primary point of contact for HAC engineering matters; Plan and standardize HAC engineering packages and design guidelines; Participate in detailed design development and provide technical input; Review mechanical and electrical drawings and engineering deliverables; Assess technical content, design coordination, and compliance; Provide technical leadership for complex design and construction challenges; Perform technical reviews throughout design, construction, and commissioning phases; Conduct QA/QC peer reviews of design documents; Identify opportunities for system optimization and energy efficiency; Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams; Coordinate with contractors and vendors to align with project objectives; Support defect identification, punch-list management, and engineering closeout; Maintain issue logs, risk registers, and technical action plans; Report issues, progress updates, and project risks; Escalate critical design and construction issues; Maintain records of design changes and engineering decisions; Update owner standard documentation; Support preparation and maintenance of project documentation.
