Set up and operate CNC lathes with live tooling and sub spindle, write and edit complex lathe programs, verify calibration of measuring equipment, ensure dimensional and quality requirements of components, assist with general housekeeping, communicate with engineers and planners to ensure accurate routers and schedules, proactively identify and implement ways to reduce set up times, mentor employees, play an active role in Lean processes to improve flow and increase throughput, identify potential cost reductions regarding product design
