Partner with controls engineers and subsystem designers to define autonomy software behaviors; Architect, document, and decompose design decisions into software requirements and verification activities; Support code reviews and validate software behavior through simulation and hardware testing; Develop and run data analysis pipelines; Drive release readiness decisions by assessing safety and performance; Coordinate with Avionics teams to integrate software into flight and ground systems; Define procedures and command sequences for ground testing and operations; Triage and resolve software issues using test data; Provide real-time support for hot fire tests and missions; Push for process improvements.
