Plan and lead production activities and personnel on various shifts; Partner with Production Manager and Planning to establish priorities; Direct production operations using knowledge of processes and equipment capabilities; Analyze schedules to estimate work requirements and adjust for completion; Assist Quality Assurance and Engineering in testing and modifying processes; Advise managers on production issues and suggest changes in procedures; Meet or exceed goals for safety, efficiency, schedule attainment, and scrap reduction; Implement lean techniques and principles; Supervise set-up, operation, and maintenance of automated machines and assembly equipment.
