Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined components; interpret engineering drawings and GD&T; conduct dimensional inspections using precision tools; verify critical features including diameters, lengths, threads, taper, angles, surface finishes, and geometric tolerances; perform first article inspections and document results; identify and document non-conforming material; coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to resolve quality concerns; review material certifications and inspection reports; assist in root cause investigations and corrective actions; maintain inspection records and ensure traceability; receive incoming goods and check for damage/discrepancies; pick, pack, receive, and dispatch outgoing goods; enter data into database systems to maintain stock and inventory records; ensure proper routing of materials between departments.
