Responsibilities
Develop and release engineering models and drawings for tooling; Generate detailed fabrication and assembly drawings adhering to ASME Y14.5; Apply MBD per ASME Y14.41 embedding PMI directly on models; Adhere to NX modeling conventions and configuration management requirements; Detail wide range of tooling including fixtures, weldments, and environmental chambers; Perform model and drawing checks to ensure conformance with standards; Collaborate with tooling, stress, and manufacturing engineers to incorporate design changes; Support vendor RFQs and fabrication by producing BOMs, weldment details, and inspection drawings; Mentor junior drafters on NX best practices and release conventions
