Responsibilities
Lead research, design, development, modification, evaluation, and improvement of mechanical and electro-mechanical modules, assemblies, and subsystems; Translate user needs into design inputs and specifications and independently develop complex system-level designs; Plan, execute, and guide advanced prototyping, testing, design verification, and technical problem-solving activities; Drive resolution of complex product design issues and support continuous product and process improvements; Explore emerging technologies and contribute to innovation activities, including invention disclosures, patents, and trade secrets; Develop and refine engineering documentation, including Design History File content and technical design records, in accordance with applicable medical device requirements; Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management teams to support successful product development and commercialisation; Mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to the development of procedures, processes, systems, and technical standards.
