Product Manager – Orthopedic Instrument

What You Will Do
• Develop and execute portfolio strategies for the Orthopedic Instruments business, ensuring alignment with division growth objectives and customer needs.
• Analyze market trends, surgeon insights, procedural dynamics, and competitive activity to identify business opportunities and strategic priorities.
• Build deep expertise on orthopedic instrument product lines, clinical applications, and procedural workflows to effectively position solutions in the market.
• Understand key competitors, their product offerings, strengths, and weaknesses, and translate market intelligence into actionable commercial strategies.
• Partner closely with Sales, Medical Education, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to enhance customer engagement and drive product adoption.
• Lead annual marketing plans, product launch activities, demand generation campaigns, and portfolio lifecycle management initiatives.
• Develop sales enablement tools, clinical messaging, communication materials, and training content to support commercial excellence.
• Monitor business performance, pricing strategy, market share, and key performance indicators, and provide regular insights to leadership teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing Communications to support business cases, product evaluations, clinical evidence generation, and portfolio optimization.
What You Need
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 4 & maximum 8 years of professional experience with at least 2+ years in Medical Devices, Orthopedics, Healthcare Marketing, Product Management, or a related commercial role.
• Strong understanding of healthcare markets, customer buying behavior, and product commercialization practices.
• Excellent analytical, presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Competencies
• Experience supporting orthopedic surgeons, operating room environments, or orthopedic implant/instrument portfolios.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret market data and convert insights into growth strategies.
• Ability to articulate clinical and economic value propositions to healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in product launches, portfolio management, pricing analysis, and sales force enablement.
• Ability to navigate complex cross-functional environments and drive execution through collaboration.
