Internship AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

• You design and develop AI-powered applications using Python, Large Language Models, AI agents, and modern AI frameworks

• You build end-to-end AI workflows by combining models, enterprise data, APIs, business logic, workflow automation, and existing HR systems

• You create solution architectures that bring together Generative AI, traditional machine learning, deterministic logic, and enterprise applications

• You evaluate new technologies, turn promising ideas into prototypes, and improve solutions based on technical performance, user feedback, and measurable business impact

• You work closely with HR, IT, and business teams to identify new use cases, translate business challenges into scalable solutions, and present concepts and outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

What we are looking for

• You are currently pursuing a degree in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field

• You have strong Python programming skills and hands-on experience developing AI applications, prototypes, AI assistants, or intelligent workflow automation solutions

• You have a solid foundation in machine learning and practical experience with LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector databases, and agentic AI

• You can assess when Generative AI, traditional machine learning, automation, or a combination of these approaches is the right solution and translate business challenges into practical technical concepts

• You communicate complex AI topics clearly, enjoy collaborating across disciplines, and ideally bring experience with Azure, orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel, as well as Git-based development workflows
