Create and execute design layouts, models, and engineering drawings; Design and develop components to meet safety, quality, reliability, cost, and schedule targets; Support new product development and existing production programs including field issue resolution; Collaborate with Industrial Design, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and suppliers; Analyze design alternatives and evaluate tradeoffs; Lead or participate in design reviews to ensure DFM, DFC, and DFW principles; Review drawings to verify GD&T accuracy; Determine appropriate tooling requirements and manufacturing methods; Develop and document design procedures; Support BOM development and prototype procurement.
