Responsibilities
Support compliance with applicable environmental and social safeguard requirements; Review E&S aspects of DPRs, technical documents, work plans and reports; Identify environmental and social risks associated with project activities; Undertake field inspections and document compliance observations; Maintain safeguard monitoring records and checklists; Coordinate safeguard matters with the project team, contractors and relevant agencies; Track issues and support corrective actions and follow-up; Provide E&S inputs to progress reports and CITIIS platform reporting; Support stakeholder consultations on environmental or social matters; Assist with safeguard-related workshops and capacity building
