Responsibilities
Lead procurement activities for direct materials, components, and manufacturing services; Develop suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and technical capabilities; Prepare RFQs, perform techno-commercial evaluations, and negotiate pricing, contracts, and lead times; Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to support new product development, supplier selection, and PPAP activities; Promote supplier localization and cost reduction programmes through value engineering and strategic sourcing; Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions to improve quality, delivery, and service; Manage supplier risks and develop alternate sources to ensure supply continuity; Support global sourcing programmes in collaboration with the Cubic Group Purchase Team; Ensure material availability while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and ERP/SAP processes
