Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of hourly employees to deliver quality, productivity, and process improvement objectives. Own quality performance within assigned product lines, including customer issue resolution, internal corrective actions, and error‑proofing initiatives. Partner with production to drive tactical and strategic problem solving using tools such as QPS, 8D, Kaizen, DOE, and root‑cause analysis. Strengthen supplier quality through MRB participation and collaboration with Supplier Quality Engineers to drive corrective actions. Implement, maintain, and improve training and quality control plans to ensure early detection and containment of defects. Support new product introductions by leading quality planning activities (FMEAs, internal PPAPs) through the CPD process. Enhance and sustain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) through audits, corrective actions, and process improvements.
