Responsibilities
Manage operations and complete daily tasks including working with OCFS processing resource parent invoices and travel reimbursements ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with federal, state and departmental guidelines; Supervise a four-employee team while directly contributing to department objectives by ensuring accurate fiscal processes and regulatory compliance; Oversee daily workloads, including workflow management, payment tracking, system accuracy, and the implementation of internal controls to safeguard funds and strengthen continuity of operations; Review complex or high-risk transactions to ensure appropriate handling, and proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes; Provide leadership and staff development through training, performance evaluation, coaching, and support, including assigning, monitoring, and reviewing work for quality and efficiency; Serve as a liaison with internal departments and case workers to resolve invoice and payment issues, communicate process improvements and support programmatic needs; Maintain and improve accounting processes, assist in developing policies and procedures, and support systemic upgrades and financial reporting.
