Define and design complex components, modules, and subsystems; coordinate with project marketing and management to understand subsystem requirements; lead architecture brainstorming meetings and drive the systems process to down select to a final architecture; conduct detailed engineering analysis of subsystems; build and qualify prototypes of new designs or procure and test outsourced subsystems; identify and troubleshoot difficult engineering problems including serviceability and manufacturability; support system integration during assembly and final testing; perform and coordinate tests against reliability specifications; provide remote and onsite support to field personnel.
