Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive safety and industrial hygiene assessments to identify and control potential health hazards; Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive industrial hygiene programs; Conduct sampling to evaluate personnel exposures and engineering controls; Lead or participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions; Analyze monitoring data and prepare detailed reports; Provide support for medical surveillance and occupational health programs; Conduct assessments for indoor air quality, ADA, and ergonomic concerns; Direct interactions with regulatory agency personnel during compliance inspections; Serve as a member of the hazardous materials spill response team; Assist with Institutional Biosafety Committee and Chemical Safety Committee; Develop and administer training resources for research and academic teams
