Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to Engineering teams and leaders across application development and data engineering. Plan short-term efforts and participate in medium- to long-term initiatives including quarterly and annual team plans. Lead mentoring and performance development, fostering innovation and high-quality service delivery. Prioritize client, technical, and business requirements into a roadmap defining strategy and feature delivery. Define and track team success metrics including delivery reliability and customer adoption. Contribute to staffing strategy and organizational design. Own engineering delivery in emerging, high-traffic product areas. Stand up and mature a data engineering function alongside application development teams. Direct the design, build, deployment, and operation of data solutions including real-time and batch pipelines. Engage with Product, Architecture, Data, and external partners to balance application delivery with foundational data platform needs. Drive adoption of AI-assisted and spec-driven development practices across engineering teams.
