Assemble prototype and pilot systems per engineering drawings, measure and build various assemblies, perform technical work like electronic actuator learning and core balancing, interpret work orders and follow special directions, collaborate with engineers to identify issues and implement design changes, build subassemblies and full systems using hand/power tools, conduct functional tests and document performance, develop and document assembly procedures, read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, coordinate with vendors for quotes and tool evaluations, participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives, suggest practical DFM/a improvements, maintain a clean and safe work environment, support Mfg engineering with machine setup, debug, and programming, perform tooling setups and handle packaging/materials, monitor and offer solutions to high scrap areas, establish tooling crib stock, make fixture/jig modifications via welding, electrical, or light machining, interact and debug robots/cobots/servos, identify and resolve safety issues, obtain forklift license for material movement
