Develop and maintain 3D models and drawings of automotive powertrain components; Create models/drawings/stacks/exploded views from supplied information; Design components for various manufacturing processes including casting, stamping, powdered metal, and molded plastic; Determine critical dimension and tolerance information; Generate drawings in accordance with industry design standards (ANSI, ISO etc); Brainstorm new design concepts and assist in the creation and management of prototype BOMs
