Responsibilities
Develop manufacturing/production schedules to meet customer demands and drive material requirements; Load shop operation capacities based on customer and financial requirements; Lead daily production control meetings to track plan adherence; Identify and react to schedules not meeting customer requirements; Report on-time performance and coordinate root cause/corrective actions; Coordinate with Ops Leaders to resolve bottlenecks, maintenance, and capacity issues; Produce manufacturing float and utilization data for forecasting; Work with Manufacturing Engineering to correct inaccurate routings; Ensure timely shipments and implement work orders; Coordinate with Material Planner to ensure raw material stock and minimize QC holds; Complete quarterly production charts and reports; Lead and report production metrics/status to business leaders weekly; Run and simulate what-if scenarios to mitigate delivery risk.
