Responsibilities
Maintain vessel on station and monitor position while underway, continuously monitor DP systems and associated equipment, coordinate with Master and Rig Manager for location changes, communicate with drill floor, engine room, and ROV, maintain DP logs and checklists, operate manual and joystick controls, assist in preventative maintenance of DP equipment, stand navigation watch, manage deck crews as required, monitor alarms and prioritize response, update navigation publications and charts
